30 B Street – South Boston

 

The proposed project includes the demolition of three existing structures and the construction of a new 5-story building containing 32 condominium units and 28 parking spaces.

 

Metro are tasked with earthworks including supporting the piling contractor as he shores up the site for the proposed underground car park. This work includes careful co-ordination with the general contractor and environmental engineering consultants and their LSP to ensure soils classified as “contaminated” is trucked to the appropriately licensed receiving facility. Excavating and preparation work for footings and proposed slab on grade. Installing new fire, domestic water, sewer and drainage services. Estimated completion date of project Spring 2017.
